Half-day Wine & Oyster Tour from Montpellier
Here is what's in store for you
Set against a classic Mediterranean backdrop, enjoy a scenic journey around the lagoon as you explore local vineyards and sample the famous oysters of the Thau Lagoon.
Meet your guide on the Esplanade de l’Europe at 10:00 am and begin the day with a visit to a traditional Languedoc winery, nestled among sun-drenched vines and cooled by the sea breeze. Discover the winemaking process with a guided tour of the production cellar and barrel room, followed by a tasting of a selection of elegant white, red, and rosé wines.
Your guide will then take you to a family-run oyster and shellfish farm on the edge of the lagoon. Learn about this authentic and little-known craft before enjoying fresh oysters paired with a glass of Picpoul de Pinet, the region’s emblematic white wine, while admiring stunning lagoon views.

Where we are and how to reach us
Your guide will be waiting for you at 10 am in front of the bar Austra Rock (Ayer's Rock) on the Esplanade de l’Europe. You can access it by tram 1 or 4 stop “Place de l’Europe" or by car: Parking “Europa” under the Olympic pool. Return to Montpellier by 1:30 pm.
