Harvest Experience at Poggio alla Rocca in Maremma

This authentic experience in the vineyards of Poggio alla Rocca gives you the opportunity to really discover how wine is made. Come experience a few days on the farm, where you can harvest the grapes with your own hands!

You will be able to participate in the crushing of the grapes, and see how they become must before your eyes. You will also be given the chance to taste the sweet nectar of the gods and appreciate its fragrance wafting through the air around you. You'll participate in all stages of winemaking, including daily pumping over, racking, pressing, and the first stage of decanting.

Have your own experience in the vineyard of Poggio alla Rocca, along with the whole family. You will follow the path of wine from the ground to the glass, starting from the rows of vines with their ripe grapes, to the winery, where you will taste, with passion, the pleasant outcome of the wine made with your own hands. You will spend happy days, in contact with nature, among beautiful hills covered with extensive vineyards and lush olive groves. 

The first day will be dedicated to your arrival at the winery, settling in, and lunch at the farm. You will also acquire the elementary techniques of grape harvesting. 

The next day the actual experience in the vineyard will begin, following the path of wine from the earth to the glass. After breakfast on the farm, the grape harvest will take place with the participation of all guests. Transportation of the grapes to the winery. Lunch in the vineyard. Pressing of the grapes and tasting the newly obtained must.    

In the following days, again after breakfast on the farm, (while waiting for the must to ferment and become wine) you will have the opportunity to continue discovering the most beautiful places in the Tuscan Maremma.
