Immersive Wine tasting & Cellar Tour at Fattoria Paradiso in Bertinoro
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit to Fattoria Paradiso, a family estate that has farmed 53 hectares in Bertinoro since 1853, begins with a welcome from a member of the winery staff. Trained in both winemaking and wine service, your host will guide you through the cellars, sharing the story of the estate and its philosophy. A member of the family may sometimes join the visit.
The experience continues in the Salone dello Stemma, the dedicated tasting room, for a guided tasting of seven wines. You’ll start with two whites: Alba and Hemera, both made from Albana grapes. You’ll then taste two Sangiovese Riserva wines from the same vineyard, Vigna delle Lepri and Orbite, and compare their different expressions. Next comes a side-by-side tasting of two reds made from the rare Barbarossa grape: Vigna Spungone and Vigna Dosso. To conclude, choose between two sweet Albana wines made in the muffato style: Vesper or Muffato Gradisca.
The wines are served with grissini, long-aged Parmigiano Reggiano, and a selection of cured meats such as prosciutto crudo, salame, and coppa. When seasonally available, the selection may include pork from the local Mora Romagnola breed.
