Enjoy a unique and personal wine experience at Casa de Algar with an immersive tasting guided by the owner.
The visit begins with a walk through the vineyards, where guests will learn about the estate, its history, and the surrounding landscape. The experience continues in the old winery, where you will taste three wines from the estate, accompanied by a board selection of local products (cheese, cold cuts, homemade jams.)
Children are welcome, we offer homemade juice with cookies and cheese.

Where we are and how to reach us
Coming from Porto, follow the EN108, enjoying the scenic drive along the Douro River until you reach Entre-os-Rios. Cross the bridge and continue on the EN224 until you reach Rua de Greire 434, where you will find the entrance gate to the estate on your left-hand side.
Enter the estate and drive along the avenue lined with cedar trees until you reach the first house. Please continue past it and follow the road under the vine pergola until you arrive at the main house by the swimming pool. The wine tastings begin there.
