Inside the bottle: Guided visit with wine and extra virgin olive oil tasting at Poggiopiano Winery

The experience begins with a walk through the vineyards and olive groves, where you will learn about the characteristics of the land and the work carried out throughout the growing season before the harvest. The tour then continues inside the cellar, where the winemaking process is explained step by step, offering insight into how the estate’s wines are crafted.

The experience concludes with a guided tasting of 2 extra virgin olive oils and 3 wines by the glass, paired with a selection of local products. The standard tasting includes small appetizers such as cured meats and cheese to accompany the wines.

For those selecting the light lunch option, the experience also includes a more generous food selection featuring cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, pappa al pomodoro, and traditional Tuscan crostini.
