I have been drinking Tulocay wine for several decades now and have not found another wine that captures the essence of the Northern California grape as well. Each variety of Tulocay is a benchmark wine that after drinking several bottles will leave you sitting on the bench contemplating the meaning of life. Williams Cadman's' hospitality is what people are looking for when they envision visiting a small winery, meeting and toasting with the wine maker. When you visit the winery you will know that you are not in France, or Modesto or at Chateau de Wannabe you are at Tulocay, Napa Valley, California, home of the best wine in the world.

Great wines, especially the unoaked Chardonnay. And the Zin. And the Pinot. Owner and winemaker Bill Cadman is a great host, too. Visited in January 2014 and were glad that we did.

The winery is the most beautiful we visited during our trip here, very rustic looking and makes you feel at home when drinking their wine. The winery dogs are also a treat to see run around and greet people.

We had a private tour at opening and absolutely loved it! Their Baci blend is phenomenal! It's off the beaten path but very well worth the visit.

I stumbled on them in 2005 and discovered the Porque No - make them tell you the story behind this truly fun and truly exciting wine. Though not requiring any aging, I have shared 5 to 8 year old vintages with friends - NEVER a single disappointment. A fun wine at any age. The Cab, Petite, and Zin completely deliver the knock out punch in their lineup of reds. While visiting Tres Sabores and listening to Julie discuss her philosophy of wine making - her heart and soul are in every bottle. Leaving the whites to the end of the review is a classic wine drinker's style but at Tres Sabores it is not all about the reds - I dare you to walk away from brilliance of their whites without a smile on your palate.
