My current favorite winery in Napa. It's...

My current favorite winery in Napa. It's small and family owned, and they take their time with the tastings. The wines are pricey, and they don't sell anything that's younger than 3 years old, but the quality and attention to detail shows. I rarely get cases of wine for home consumption, but this is one place I always will.

We had a lovely time visiting the farm and winery in April. The Ashtaroot is my favorite wine there. The folks there are warm and love to share their stories with visitors. It is worth the visit. Go.

wine is OK, staff is nice, but the setting is pretty mediocre (at best)...there is a semi-decent tasting room, and the rest of the facility is a half kept
