Just had an excellent meal at Te Motu - The Shed. Really, really good food. The blend of flavours, the choice of dishes, the location, all make The Shed a great place to relax and enjoy.

We went with a group of 25 people at the end of a conference held in Auckland. For the perspective of a person from California, this place is definitely remote, dirt road, and quite a distance out of the town, But the experience and the food is well worth the trip. excellent food and service, nice views of the countryside, very

Deze wijngaard is heel kleinschalig en gelukkig...
Deze wijngaard is heel kleinschalig en gelukkig niet echt commercieel maar daardoor wel leuk om te bezoeken en een wijnproeverij te doen!
Wel zijn de wijnen prijzig!

Lance is incredible. While you may not buy his gospel, you have to admire someone who is both willing to put in the incredible time effort it takes to test his theories. And in the end he makes great wine, significantly better in our opinion than mudbrick just up the hill.

With a vineyard in such a beautiful location it wouldn't take much to enrich the experience, but after tasting the wine it comes nothing short of spectacular. After learning and participating in the wine making process it becomes clear why. The crew at Destiny Bay pulls out all the stops in order to produce top quality wine. While other vineyards may simply machine process the entire production routine the staff at Destiny Bay adds a personal touch to their wine making, carefully getting the components just right, as every step is handcrafted . Well done Destiny Bay, we'll be back and we love your wine!
