I visited this place while in Las Cruces. I would say it is standard for Las Cruces. I did not like their wine or their wine appetizers, the presentation of the appetizers was lacking in presentation. The wine itself was bitter and almost had too much sulfites and too much alcohol in it. I would compare their wine to MD 20/20. Boone's cheap wine strawberry hill makes a better wine than Amaro does. What I will give them props to is their two young waitresses and one waiter I did not get their names I believe one was named Brittany a very sweet person as were the other two. I do beleive that Amaro winery should be more serious about their wine and grapes and how they make their wine and also acknowledge that food trucks such as burgers and tacos and other food trucks do not go with wine. Very few red meats go with red wines and that is mostly steaks and filet mignon. Not standard 80 percent or less burger meat. In addition only certain wines can be paired with certain foods and cheeses and deli meats and hummus and crackers and sweets. Clearly the clients here at Amaro are here for the drink and the alcohol and spirits of friends and not for the quality. So if your not a connoisseur and dont care this is a
