Fabio was an outstanding host, telling us about the winery, their approach, each individual wine, and what was special about it. The food pairings were top notch, and the wines were outstanding. We brought a few home for our cellar. Highly recommend.

Fabio was a wonderful host!
We totally enjoyed the whole experience!
He did such a nice job of giving us a tour, the history of the winery, and the tasting with pairings was a beautiful experience for my girlfriend and I!
We made a new friend and put in our first order to be delivered to our home.

The place was super cozy, the tasting was very complete, and Claudio's attention and explanation were very detailed.

Fabio was fantastic. We ended up with a couple from the same country as us and he was so personable and made our tasting relevant for all of us. There was a small group of 5 including our 6 year old son and he was great with him. We had so much fun. Fabio was generous, friendly and knowledgeable! A must do in Sorrento, thank you Fabio!!!

We had an absolutely incredible wine tasting experience yesterday at DeAngelis Winery in Sorrento. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed into a relaxed and elegant setting that beautifully reflected the spirit of the region.

Fabio, our host, brought the entire experience to life. His passion for the craft, deep knowledge of the winery’s history, and charming storytelling made the tasting not just enjoyable but enriching. We sampled a fantastic selection of nine distinct wines, each with its own character and beautifully representative of Campania’s terroir. From crisp whites to full-bodied reds, every pour offered something new to explore and appreciate.

What truly stood out was the attention to detail—the curated meats and cheeses were perfectly paired with each wine, enhancing the tasting in all the right ways. Fabio also went above and beyond in making sure everyone in the group felt at ease. The atmosphere was friendly and social, with our fellow guests adding to the fun and conviviality.

As a family of five, we were especially grateful for how Fabio looked after our three teenagers. He engaged them with enthusiasm, made them feel included and special, and ensured they enjoyed the experience as much as the adults. It’s rare to find that level of thoughtful hospitality.

This tasting was much more than sipping wine—it was a memorable afternoon of stories, flavours, and connection. DeAngelis Winery is a must-do when in Sorrento. We’re already dreaming of coming back!
While Fabio’s storytelling was excellent, having a printed or digital tasting menu with the wine names, grape varieties, and tasting notes could help guests follow along more easily and take notes if desired. It would also make for a nice souvenir.

Fabio was an incredible host, we truly loved our experience. As fellow sommeliers, he taught us a great amount about local Sorrento wine - all of which was amazing. He was delightful to engage with, I recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sorrento looking to do a wine tour

We couldn’t have asked for a better wine tasting experience. The meats and cheeses provided along with a variety of wines were delicious! Loads of knowledge about wine too! Location was a short 2 minute walk from the bus stop in Sorrento. Also the AC was blasting so it was lovely to enjoy the wine without feeling the heat. Thank you very much for a great experience! We will be back.
