We had a beautiful evening with wonderful wines, delicious food, which suited each wine perfectly and charming hosts.
The scenery in the front and then the cosy setup at the back of the house has a beautiful contrast. The layout of the tables and the time the hosts takes to share the wines and their information makes you feel, like you have your own dinner party.

Excellent experience
We were able to tour the winemaking area with the owner/winemaker while he explained the area’s vineyard operations. We sat on a lovely patio for our tastings, paired with different bruschettas perfectly. It’s obvious Fausta Mansio is a labor of love, each wine thoughtfully crafted. We ordered a case to be shipped! Happy to have had this experience!

We had a very enjoyable time at Fausta vineyard. My only regret would be when we were rescheduled we would’ve been told we were going to be the only ones.

Great wine tasting with small food pairing
We came from Siracusa to visit this family-run winery. Beautiful setting, excellent wines with presentations and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for all wine lovers!

Our favourite ever wine tasting!
We were a party of 6 and most of us said it was the best wine tasting we had ever done! All 5 wines we tasted were absolutely delicious, and we would have bought them all if we weren’t travelling home with only hand luggage! The food pairings were also brilliant and the host explained everything really well and answered all of our questions. The setting was also so beautiful! I would 100% recommend this experience!

Amazing wines and experience
This was probably one of the best wine tasting experiences we have ever had. Maybe because we were in Sicily and were just loving everything about this island. But this place is special. Family owned and operated; we were treated to an intimate gathering outside amongst the olive groves. Hearing about each wine from the winemaker himself was just so special. And the wines were incredible. We had 5 different wines, each accompanied by a small food pairing that complimented the wine. It really was magical. It was one of our favorite experiences of our trip.

Must try in Syracuse!
This was hands down our favourite experience in Syracuse. This family owned winery was so charming and beautiful with a history spanning generations. Olaf and his partner prepared a wonderful 9-course tasting menu of wine and food pairings, and each one was absolutely delicious. After our meal, the owner helped arrange for our transportation back to our hotel which was very helpful. Looking forward to returning one day in the future!!!
The only small challenge was finding the property. To help guests in the future, the address is at #10 and not #7 as suggested by Apple Maps. Keep driving through the green gates and down the road, until you see a driveway to the left with a swimming pool (and likely some of the family’s dogs!) outside. This is the location where the tastings are held in the backyard. Enjoy!

Wonderful and amazing experience!
We had a wonderful experience at the Fausta Mansio winery from start to finish. From the moment we arrived it was so warm and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home. All the wines and tapas’ were explained carefully and attentively. The hosts did a great job in explaining the origins and process of the wines, and we loved every bit of it. Everything was absolutely delicious and generous, and we would definitely come again. They also had some super friendly dogs to make us even more welcome.
