Nous avons été très bien accueillis.
C’était un plaisir d’avoir pu connaître l’histoire du domaine et surtout d’avoir pu déguster les vins produits.

If you want to visit an authentic local vineyard with little industrial intervention, this is the place.

Lucas is the owner of the vineyard and, although he might seem a bit reserved at first, once he starts sharing his story and dedication to wine, you can feel his passion for preserving the winemaking traditions of Gaillac.

Since we were the only ones at the tasting, the experience was very personal and welcoming. He lets you taste each wine freely while sharing stories in a friendly exchange of knowledge.

He’s a great host, very approachable, and makes you dive into Gaillac’s winemaking history through his own experience.

And of course, the wines are excellent in both quality and price — we took 4 bottles home!

Cantina e Vini

Château Maresque, un vigneto con oltre 300 anni di storia, si trova sulle pittoresche colline di Gaillac, sulla riva destra del fiume Tarn. Estesa su 30 ettari, la tenuta è stata rivitalizzata nel 1999 e passerà alla prossima generazione nel 2023. Immerse in terreni argillo-calcarei mollassici, le nostre viti sono influenzate dai venti mediterranei e atlantici. Concentrandosi su varietà locali come Mauzac, Loin de L'Oeil, Braucol e Prunelard, Château Maresque fonde tradizione e innovazione per produrre vini eccezionali che riflettono il terroir.

A Château Maresque produciamo una varietà di vini pluripremiati dal nostro terroir unico. La nostra gamma comprende bianchi secchi, dolci e frizzanti, oltre a rossi tradizionali, Cuvée Thomas e rossi affinati in botti di rovere artigianali. L'esposizione a sud del vigneto, combinata con l'influenza del vento di Autan, consente una maturazione precoce, che si traduce in vini dal colore intenso, con aromi complessi di frutta candita e spezie. I nostri vitigni includono Mauzac, Loin de L'Oeil, Duras, Braucol e Syrah, ognuno dei quali contribuisce alla profondità e al carattere dei nostri vini.
