Cantina e Vini

In 1840, Francois Tiollier bought this property planted with vines and fruit trees. He built the house and named this magnificent place: the Domaine de l'Idylle. Albert TIOLLIER won his first wine competition in 1920.

Henriette and André TIOLLIER, are the first to bottle their wine in the valley, pioneers of the valorization of authentic grape varieties.

In 1975, Philippe and then François TIOLLIER settled on the estate, specialized in wine and stopped other productions. The estate goes from 10 to 20 hectares.

In 2011, Sylvain TIOLLIER arrived on the estate, giving it a new lease of life, bringing a little modernity while preserving the traditions of these centuries-old wines.

Since 2008, our new winery, allows a very respectful processing of grapes: reception of grapes by gravity, strict control of temperatures. This precision work allows us to use the minimum of inputs to let the terroir express itself.

The aging of the wines takes place in our cellar buried at the temperature naturally stable throughout the year. The aging lasts from 3 to 12 months. Most of our wines are aged in stainless steel vats in order to preserve their typicity and fruitiness. Only a few cuvées are matured in oak barrels.

Exceptional exposure for these steep hillsides that dominate the southern flank of the Savoie valley, facing the Alps. The soil of our vines is made of clay-limestone scree. It is reputed to be one of the best in Savoy.

The mountain climate of Savoie is the secret of the balance of our wines. It is characterized by cool nights, the day the sun is stronger on our hillsides. These temperature differences improve the maturity of our grapes and keep them very fresh.

Our variaties : Mondeuse , altesse , jacquère , roussanne , gamay , pinot noir , persan
