The Brugi maternal grandparents, owners of various plots of land in the municipality of Scansano planted with vines, olive trees and cattle breeding, decided to buy the Podere Belvedere in the municipality of Campagnatico in the 1950s. Here they planted the first olive groves and the first vineyards by grafting the scions which then gave life to the Morellino di Scansano. The Pierini paternal grandparents decide to sell various lands near Poggioferro in the municipality of Scansano, and with the proceeds, and the help of friends and relatives, they decide to venture into the purchase of a farm called Poggio Lombardo, dedicating themselves to the cultivation of olive groves, cereals and cattle breeding. Around the 90s, rationalizing costs and resources, father, mother and their three children decide to create a single company from the two, calling it "PIERINIeBRUGI". Livestock breeding is left, giving more importance to crops to obtain quality products and establish direct contact with the consumer. The crops are in the heart of the Montecucco DOCG in a vineyard of about 4 hectares, in an area geographically suited for the cultivation of vines and olive trees, between the Morellino di Scansano DOCG and the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG; “Lulivetaccio” organic extra virgin olive oil, pure organic saffron threads, white grappa and Riserva, jams, organic pearled spelled, organic ground chilli pepper and natural soap. Most of the products have the Organic Certification issued by Q Certificazioni srl.

There are 5 types of wine Montecucco DOC red reserve "Sugherettaio" organic, Montecucco DOC vermentino "Lillatrino" organic, Montecucco DOC red "Albatreto" organic, Montecucco DOCG sangiovese "Ginepraio" organic and 5 Lt IGT Tuscan red bag in box " Stracciabracaio” organic
