Chianti Wine Tasting with Tuscan Appetizers at Casa di Monte in Montespertoli
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience at Azienda Agricola Casa di Monte, a family estate in the Chianti hills, begins with a welcome from your hosts, Linda and Jessica. They will guide you on a tour of the winery, sharing the story of their family's century-long history and their methods for producing both wine and extra virgin olive oil.
The visit continues with a tasting of four wines that express the character of the Montespertoli terroir. The tasting includes:
- JLMA IGT: 100% Chardonnay white
- Bruzzolo Rosato IGT: 100% Sangiovese rosé
- Le Capitozze Chianti Classico DOCG: a classic red from 100% Sangiovese
- Robbia IGT Super Tuscan: a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
To accompany the wines, you will be served a platter of Tuscan products, featuring local prosciutto and salame, Pecorino Toscano cheese with the estate's honey or jam, and two types of bruschetta – one with fresh tomato and another with the estate's Laudemio olive oil.
