If you're looking for a wine tasting experience that's truly unique, La Pieve de’ Pitti offers much more than just good wine — it's a story of family, land, and passion that’s been growing for over 50 years.
Our winery is located in Terricciola, in the heart of Tuscany’s Terre di Pisa, on a hillside entirely cultivated by us. What makes it even more special is its deep historical significance: the estate dates back to Etruscan times, and walking through our vineyards means stepping into centuries of tradition.
Join Caterina — not a sommelier, but the heart of our winery. An architect by training, she now personally oversees every step of our wine production, from vine to bottle.
The tour begins with a scenic but demanding walk through the vineyards. It’s the only way to truly understand our wines — by touching the vines, feeling the six unique soils beneath your feet, and breathing the salty air that shapes every sip.
We’ll take you on a beautiful (and a bit challenging) walk through the vineyards. You’ll be stepping on real soil clumps, not strolling down a red carpet — so leave the heels at home and wear comfy, closed-toe shoes.
Back at the winery, you'll enjoy a generous tasting of six distinct wines, each expressing our terroir in a unique way.
And then, there’s Ida’s kitchen: mamma cooks a rich variety of homemade Tuscan bites using local products from the Terre di Pisa. These are not just snacks — you won’t leave hungry!

Where we are and how to reach us
You need a car (or a private driver/taxi) to arrive to Pieve de' Pitti. Park at the parking area then walk to the office. Follow the indication on the gravel road. The wine tour starts in front of our wine shop.
