You will then reach the farmhouse of Il Convento, where you will enjoy a light lunch consisting of a plate of pasta prepared with fresh products coming from the garden, such as pennette with zucchini or cherry tomatoes. After lunch, your experience will end with a tasting of their various products, including a selection of the different liqueurs they produce, such as Limoncello, Arancello (made with oranges), Mandarinetto (tangerines), Crema di Limoni, Liquirizia (licorice), Mirto (myrtle) and Nocillo (walnuts), as well as a tasting of their homemade citrus marmalades and their extra virgin olive oil.

Beautiful farm and great tour

4/1/24
Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our tour. Our guide Irina was very informative, friendly and answered all our questions. The farm was beautiful and it was very interesting seeing how the Limoncello is made. All the products we tried in the tasting after the tour were delicious - I would definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing Experience

It was an amazing experience! Starting with all the info on how the limoncello is produced, seeing every step of the product (from lemon to final drink) and finishing with the best part - the actual tasting. Il Convento is a family owned business and our guide, Jacobo (apologies if I misspelled his name) was the best host. Loads of interesting details about how lemons grow, how to use them, of course, about limoncello and the location is absolutely stunning. I definitely recommend booking accommodation there...I know we will do it for our next visit on the Amalfi Coast. It's an oasis of silence and tranquility between the lemon trees.

Quick tip: don't go with your car...otherwise you won't be able to enjoy all the tastings...and there were quite a couple :D 6-7 different liquors (depending on what period of the year you are going)

Loved this tour

10/1/23
My husband and I really enjoyed this limoncello tour and tasting. The son was our tour guide and his mom (who is lovely) gave us 5 different tastings including bread with olive oil and lemon jam and lemon cake . It was beyond what we expected! Would highly recommend! We also loved being able to support local producers by taking many products home with us!

Fantastic experience at Agriturismo Il Convento

10/1/23
The young man who was the son of the owner gave us the tour. He was very nice, knowledgeable and happily answered all of our questions. The tastings were amazing! If we had more room in our luggage, we would have bought more limoncello!!

Wonderful Experience

7/1/23
Il Convento Farm was like a slice of heaven. It’s a family-run lemon grove and limoncello factory. My family and I did the limoncello tour that ended with a delicious pasta meal at the owner’s farm house, which is a Bed & Breakfast steps from the gorgeous lemon grove. We got to wander through the grove at our leisure after the tour. The meal, prepared by the owners’ sons, was amazing - from the home-grown tomatoes and zucchini to the homemade pasta and delicious chocolate cake. We had a wonderful experience and hope to visit again someday.

Excellent & fascinating tour!

8/1/23
This was a tour of an operating farm, producing lemons & lemmoncello! They also produce some other crops such as oranges, cherries, olives & walnuts. Our guide, Mateo, did an excellent job explaining & showing us the process. We had the opportunity to try their Lemoncello, lemon & orange marmalades, cherry cello, and olive oil - and of course, fresh lemon juice! Thoroughly enjoyable!
You have to pay attention if riding the bus, as the stops do not have signs with their names (like in Roma). Smartphone map w/correct bus line info is a must. iMap & GoogleMaps showed different busses. But the GoogleMap app showed the bus indicated in the tour directions.

Amazing discovery of limoncello

8/1/23
We had a fantastic time discovering the limoncello process. The Agriturismo Il Convento is not the easiest to reach (Sorrento peninsula, tiny roads) and we were unaware of a market taking place in a Friday, which made traffic harder. In spite of it all, people from Il Convento were kindly waiting for us. We were given a very informative tour of the facilities, had a nice walk through the lemon groves, and enjoyed some limoncello-based products (loved the limoncello babà and the lemon pannetone!). Thank you to everyone from Il Convento, and to Wondering for facilitating this amazing experience!
Only point to note is that driving to the place is not the easiest in summer, and there is a market on a Friday, making the last kilometre harder, but nothing too difficult

Authentic limoncello family business

7/1/23
The hosts are very nice, we were on a tour alone, we saw all the lemon gardens and the machines that creates the limoncello. After we went to their farm, it was to minute ride, and there we had the tasting. The food tasty we got some bread, olive oil, jams and very good coffee cake. The limoncello is very good too, but we got only two tastings, we were expecting a bit more since it’s a limoncello tour.

Tour lunch

The host family was wonderful .The food and limoncello was excellent! Had a little trouble finding where to meet for beginning of the tour. A lovely afternoon and lunch.
Would have loved to be able to purchase their limoncello on site at tour

Fantastic experience

6/1/23
We visited Il Convento to find out more about the process of making Limoncello. It is a family run business where a lot of the process is still done by hand. Giacomo gave a great tour of the lemon grove before we entered the factory to watch the limoncello being made.
Afterwards we walked up to the family home and tasted a variety of samples.
I would thoroughly recommend taking the time to go to Il Convento as not only was it a great experience but also a chance to see a bit of rural Amalfi coast.
Thankyou to Giacomo and his family for such a lovely morning.
We were lucky to have a small group which made it more personal. So maybe cap the numbers.
Perhaps sitting under the lemon trees while doing the tasting?
We came by bus so maybe suggest taking the bus from the central station.

Amazing experience

5/1/23
One of the best experiences I have had in Italy. First was a tour of the factory and family run business. I loved seeing all the ins and outs of the business and how the lemons become limoncello!

After the lemon tour, we were treated to a sampling of the limencello. There were 3 different types to try along with bread, jam, olive oil and lemon juice. It was like a light lunch!

If you have the time to visit a limoncello tour, I highly suggest this business. family run and with the nicest staff around.

To travel to the site easily, travel to Massa Lubrense and walk to the starting point. I found this to be the most scenic and fastest way to travel to the tour from Sorrento.

Best tasting in Sorrento

4/1/23
We enjoyed our visit very much, especially the tasting part. We were able to taste a large assortment of lemon, orange, cherry and other liqueurs, organic olive oil, marmalade. Without forgetting madeleines, chocolate and breads all made on site.

The welcome from the hosts and the visit to the garden was warm and impeccable. We highly recommend it.

Great experience

9/1/23
We had a pleasure to visit Agriturizmo II Convento. Our tour guide was Matteo, very nice guy with great sense of humor. He was very professional, explained the whole process of making limonchello and ask us for degustation. Everything he gave to us was delicious, fresh and organic plus you can taste all of this in a beautiful porch with the view to lemon garden, we just couldn’t ask for more. We were lucky to meet Matteos father as well, they are extremly nice people. We spent great time there and definately if we will be around their farm again we will go there even to say hello. Well recomended! Best regards Kamil and Magda.
