Private Sailing Tour with Wine Tasting on the Tagus River, Lisbon
Here is what's in store for you
See Lisbon from a different perspective with a private, four-hour sailing tour on the Tagus River that includes a tasting of Portuguese wines. Your experience begins at Doca de Alcântara, where you'll meet the skipper and board the sailboat reserved exclusively for your group.
Once on the water, the crew will introduce you to three different Portuguese wines. The tasting includes a white Moscatel de Setúbal, a Vinho Verde Branco made from Trajadura, Loureiro, Azal, and Pedernã grapes, and a rosé produced from Castelão, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Nacional, and Syrah. As you taste, the crew will share a brief introduction to the wines, their origins, and the regions they represent.
From the boat, you'll have clear views of Lisbon’s most recognizable landmarks, including Praça do Comércio, the 25 de Abril Bridge, Cristo Rei, the MAAT, the Electricity Museum, Padrão dos Descobrimentos, and Belém Tower. If the weather is suitable, there will also be an opportunity to stop for a swim. This tour combines a private sailing trip with an introduction to Portuguese wine culture, offering a distinct way to see the city.
