Half-Day E-bike Tour of the Luberon with Wine & Olive Oil Tasting
Here is what's in store for you
Your half-day tour begins when you meet your local guide, Pierre or Thomas. Both know the region's producers personally and will lead your small group on an e-bike ride through the Luberon countryside.
You'll set off on a RockRider electric bike for an approximately 20 km route around the villages of Gordes, Oppède, and Ménerbes. The electric assistance makes for an easy ride over dirt tracks and village roads with minimal elevation, letting you focus on the scenery of vineyards, olive groves, and cherry orchards. If the lavender is in bloom, your guide may lead a detour to see the fields.
The first stop is at a local wine estate. You'll tour the vineyards and the cellar before settling onto the terrace for a guided tasting of five to six wines, including white, rosé, and red varieties from the AOC Luberon and IGP Vaucluse appellations. The tour continues to a local olive oil mill. Here, you will visit the mill to learn about the production process, followed by a tasting of different olive oils, with the selection varying by season.
