Premium Wine Tasting with Tapas & Tour at Manzwine in Cheleiros
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit to Manzwine begins with an introduction to the history of Cheleiros village and the winery's project, centered on reviving rare native grapes like Jampal. The estate's hospitality team will then guide you through the on-site museum to see the old wine press, explaining how the region's terroir shapes the character of the wines.
The tour continues into the winery, where you'll learn about the harvesting, winemaking, and ageing processes. You will then settle into the tasting room or onto the terrace for a guided tasting of six ManzWine wines.
The selection includes the Manz Rosé; Dona Fátima, the white Jampal; and four red wines: Pomar do Espírito Santo Reserva, Contador de Estórias, Manz Douro, and Pomar do Espírito Santo Grande Reserva.
The wines are paired with a platter of regional products, featuring matured cow's and sheep's milk cheeses, Salpicão from Trás-os-Montes, Painho Alentejano, fruit jam, the estate’s own extra virgin olive oil, seasoned olives, fresh Mafra bread, and traditional dry biscuits.
Children are welcome and can enjoy the same food selection, served with water instead of wine.
