Your visit to João Portugal Ramos begins with a welcome from a member of the wine tourism team, a professional with a WSET Level 2 qualification who will be your host for the day.
The experience starts with a walk through the vineyards and a tour of the winery, where you'll learn about the production process behind one of Alentejo's most recognized labels. Afterward, you will settle into the tasting room for a guided tasting of four Alentejo DOC wines, each showcasing a different expression of the Marquês de Borba line:
- Marquês de Borba Colheita White
- Marquês de Borba Vinhas Velhas White
- Marquês de Borba Colheita Red
- Marquês de Borba Vinhas Velhas Red
The tasting is accompanied by traditional Alentejo bread, aged Alentejo sheep’s cheese, and a tasting of Oliveira Ramos Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For younger participants, a non-alcoholic option is available, including a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, and orange juice.
