This immersive experience takes you to the heart of the Louis Balincourt Champagne House in Châlons-en-Champagne.

Led by an experienced multilingual guide, you'll journey through the fascinating history of the Crayères of Châlons, geological formations dating back to the Cretaceous period (when dinosaurs roamed the earth). Mankind began exploiting these chalk quarries nearly 2,000 years ago, and they eventually became the perfect environment for Champagne to age gracefully from the early 19th century. During your visit to the production and storage site, you’ll also explore the Champagne-making process, discovering historical production tools used over time.

The experience concludes with a tasting of two cuvées from Champagne Louis Balincourt: Brut Séduction and Brut Premier Cru or Rosé Brut.

After the tour, feel free to explore the house's shop "Champagne's Got Talent", featuring over fifty artisanal treasures from the Champagne region — a great way to extend your journey beyond the visit!
