Monforte d'Alba: Truffle Hunt and Wine Tasting in Langhe Area

Come with us and experience a truffle hunt and wine tasting in Langhe!

In the area of Langhe where Barolo wine is produced you will be able to enjoy an unforgettable experience, surrounded by the stunning vineyard and woods of one of the most charming villages of the area, Monforte d’Alba.

Together with the "trifulau" – the truffle hunter in the local dialect - and his dog, you will explore the woods to find the precious truffles, learning the secrets of a tradition passed down from generation to generation.

After that, you will visit the cellar and the museum of a local winery and, weather permitting, the vineyards that surround it. End your day with a tasting of 5 wines: Chardonnay, Barbera d’Alba, Nebbiolo and two Barolo. Other kind of tastings available on request.

Please note that between the truffle hunt and the wine-tasting there is usually some free time, the two experiences might not be consecutive (e.g. truffle hunt from 10AM to 12PM and wine-tasting starting in the afternoon after lunch).
