Olive Harvest Program at Casa Relvas in Alentejo

At the Casa Relvas olive mill, you’ll be able to observe the entire olive oil production process in detail! During this experience, you’ll also compare different olive oil varieties, take part in a technical tasting of olive oils and wines, and sample local products such as bread, cheeses, and cured meats, along with a traditional Alentejo-style lunch.
The Casa Relvas Variety Comparison consists of tasting 2 to 3 olive oils directly from the tanks, where we can see the differences between oils from various olive varieties. In the technical tasting, we taste the 3 Casa Relvas olive oils – similar to the tastings carried out by professional tasting panels, who determine the quality of olive oils before they are marketed – and to finish, a tasting of 2 Casa Relvas wines, accompanied by Alentejo tapas. Finally, a typical Alentejo lunch.
Vidigueira is an Alentejo municipality rich in history, heritage, and tradition, with stunning views over the Serra do Mendro, centuries-old wineries, and historical monuments dating back to Roman times.
