Panoramic wine tasting at Corte San Mattia with the view of Verona
Here is what's in store for you
Located on the rolling hills of Torricelle, just a few minutes from the historic center of Verona, Corte San Mattia is a charming farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, offering one of the most breathtaking panoramic views over the city. From the scenic terrace, your gaze stretches across Verona’s historic skyline, follows the course of the Adige River, and reaches all the way to the Po Valley and the distant mountains on the horizon.
This is a place where time seems to slow down, making it perfect for moments of relaxation and authentic wine experiences in close contact with nature.
With the Panoramic Wine Tasting Experience, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Giovanni Ederle Winery, learning about the estate’s philosophy, its connection to the Valpolicella territory, and the winemaking process behind its most representative labels.
The experience continues with a guided tasting of 5 wines, carefully selected to showcase the excellence of the area. The tasting always includes Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore, and Amarone della Valpolicella, offering a complete journey through the styles and structure of Valpolicella wines.
To complete the experience, the wines are paired with a platter of local charcuterie, enhancing flavors and creating a perfect balance between wine and regional gastronomy—all enjoyed while admiring one of the most evocative views over Verona.

Magical place
All good, we took advantage of it a bit and asked to taste their oil (remarkable), I would include it among the appetizers
Tasting and Winery Tour
There are no other words to describe it.
The girl who took us on the tour explained everything beautifully and answered all our questions impeccably (she was also excellently prepared in English, as we had two curious Indian guests with us).
Although the winery is very young, I found some very particular and interesting characteristics in the various wines.
The view is AMAZING!
Also beautiful were the pool and the whole garden.
We stocked up on a lot of bottles.
Definitely a place to return to.
Even just for an aperitivo or to stay a few nights, given the possibility to lodge.
Alas, I only have a photo of the view because we were too busy tasting the wine and all the cured meats/cheeses they served us.
Tasting at Corte San Mattia
Highly recommended.
Super informative - perfect value for money
The tasting with a super panorama, a beautiful platter and a romantic and relaxing atmosphere.
The wines, as usual, depend on taste. We liked them and we also bought a case of Amarone and one of Pas Dosé.
