Vineyard Picnic with DOC Wine Tasting at Le Muraglie on Lake Garda

You'll be welcomed to the Le Muraglie winery by a family member, Vania or Anna, who will guide you on a walk through the family's vineyards. Set in the morainic hills near Lake Garda, this is where they'll share the history of the estate and their approach to cultivation.

The tour continues inside the winery, with a look at the key stages of winemaking and aging. Next, in the tasting room, you'll sample two of the estate's DOC wines. You can choose from their range of still and sparkling labels, which includes white wines from the Custoza area and rosé and red wines from the Bardolino area.

The final part of your visit is a picnic set up among the vines. Your basket will be filled with local cured meats like salami, cheeses such as Grana Padano and Asiago, bread, and water. It also includes one bottle of Le Muraglie wine for every two people, chosen from the winery's selection and if you liked the wines tasted, it could also be one of them. Water is provided for minors, who are welcome to share the food in the basket.
