Small-Group Douro River Cruise with Port Wine in Porto
Here is what's in store for you
Your 90-minute river cruise begins at the Douro Marina. A member of the Naugit team will welcome you and, after a mandatory safety briefing, you'll board the boat, which is reserved for a small group of just five people.
With your skipper and guide, you'll set off along the river that flows between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. As you cruise, you'll be served a glass of Tawny Port – from producers like Offley, Cruz, Burmester, or Velhotes, depending on availability. Water and juice are available for younger participants.
The tour is designed to give you a unique perspective on the city from the water. You'll pass beneath Porto's six famous bridges, including the Dom Luís I, Infante, Maria Pia, São João, and Freixo bridges. Along the way, you will see riverside landmarks like the Ribeira district, the Foz do Douro, the Alfândega building, and the historic Port wine cellars lining the banks of Gaia. After taking in the views of the city and its estuary, the tour concludes back at the marina.
