Here is what's in store for you
This Private Bicycle Tour of Barcelona is a wonderful and unique way to explore the city. Bike through the charming medieval Born neighborhood, the stunning Arc de Triomf, Ciutadella Park (former fairgrounds from the 1888 Universal Exposition), passing the elegant yacht-filled Inner Harbor and the Olympic Port.
The tour departs from Plaça d'Antonio López. Once you're ready on your bike, your private guide will lead you to see a Roy Lichtenstein sculpture and a golden lobster by Miquel Barcelo, before exploring the luxurious Inner Harbor with its high-end yachts. While passing the harbor, you'll hear interesting stories about its 18th-century origins and take in the scenic views. At the edge of Barceloneta, where it meets the sea, you'll pause to enjoy a glass of cava, Spain’s sparkling white wine.
Riding along the boardwalk with the Mediterranean beside you, your guide will take you to the Olympic Port and Village, where you'll learn about the city’s transformation for the '92 Olympics. Once an industrial area, it's now filled with parks, beaches, and modern housing.
Next, you'll visit the peaceful Parc de la Ciutadella, once the site of the 1888 Universal Exhibition, and see the Arc de Triomf, a grand entrance to the fair. This lively area is now frequented by locals, rollerbladers, and performers.
You'll also explore Mercat del Born, a 19th-century market that became a cultural center after ancient ruins were found beneath it. Your private tour allows flexibility to linger in areas you find most interesting, with ample time for photos and questions.
