Here is what's in store for you

Discover the world-famous Champagne with this private full-day wine tour from Paris!

Your day will begin with a pick-up at approximately 07:15 AM at your hotel in Paris. You will be transferred to Paris - Gare de l'Est, from which you'll take a 45-minute direct train to Reims. Alternatively, the pick-up can be arranged at 09.00 AM at your hotel located in Reims or Epernay area or at the Reims train station.

Once in the Champagne region, you will start your experience with a scenic drive along the Route du Champagne, among vineyards and picturesque villages, offering a charming bucolic landscape. You'll be taken to the Mountain of Reims for sightseeing of some of the most famous Grandes Maisons de Champagne such as Bollinger, Gosset, and Deutz. Along the route, you will pass by villages like Ay, Hautvillers, Bouzy, Le Mesnil, Vernezay, etc. You will stop in the town of Epernay, internationally known as the "Capital of Champagne". Its stunning main street appears like a collection of opulent mansions, housing the most illustrious Maisons de Champagne, like Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouët, and Mercier.

The first Champagne House you will visit on this wine tour is Moët et Chandon. Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, the House became the first international brand in the world. Discover its history, linked with famous figures such as The Marquise de Pompadour and Napoleon the 1st, and stroll around the largest champagne cellar in existence. As the Tour ends, you'll enjoy a Champagne tasting in an elegant Tasting Room.

For lunch, you can decide to stop at a local domain to enjoy a Champagne-paired lunch. You will enjoy a tour of the estate, dating back to the French Revolution, and learn about this historical domain. In 1947, Pierre and his 2 sons Jacques and Jean-Guy created the brand Champagne Jacquinot et Fils. Jacques looked after the sales and Jean-Guy took care of the vineyard that today covers 17 ha and makes wines of the highest quality. Alternatively, you will enjoy lunch at your leisure.

After lunch, you will head to the Marne Valley, crossing its rolling hills dotted with vineyards, and enjoy a guided tour of the village of Hautvillers. Visit the final resting place of Dom Pérignon, who finalized the process to elaborate Champagne, the church of the former Benedictine Abbey.

The final visit of your full-day wine tour will be to a local domain in Damery. Established in 1912, the Champagne House J. de Telmont is one of the last familial Champagne Houses. Inherited by the family of winegrowers, the Champagne House J. de Telmont owns 36 hectares of vineyards where are grown the 3 grape varieties of Champagne: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. For 4 generations now, J. de Telmont has been continuing the art of welcoming guests with pleasure and dynamism.

The drop off will be at 05:00 PM at Reims train station. From here you will take a 45-minute train ride back to Paris. At your arrival in Paris - Gare de l'Est train station, your driver will be waiting for you with a signboard with your name on it to transfer you to your hotel.
