Here is what's in store for you
Day 1: Upon your arrival in Bordeaux, you will be privately transferred from the Bordeaux train station to your hotel, the 4-star Le Majestic in Bordeaux (subject to change according to availability). Located in the heart of the historic neighborhood, this hotel welcomes you in the heart of Bordeaux, next to the Grand Theatre and a few minutes away from the Place des Quinconces and the Miroir d'eau.
Day 2: Explore the Medoc region and visit three wineries for wine tastings. Along the scenic Chateau Road, you will have the opportunity to tour a winery and learn about the winemaking process. Following the tour, enjoy a guided wine tasting session to deepen your knowledge and appreciation of the wines produced there. Afterward, you will have free time for lunch in Pauillac. In the afternoon, you will visit two carefully selected wineries in the Medoc region, representing different appellations. Along the way, you will be able to make sightseeing stops and admire renowned wineries such as Palmer, Margaux, Rauzan Segla, and Cantenac Brown. The tour will conclude at 6:00 PM with drop-off at the Bordeaux Tourist Office.
Day 3: Check out after breakfast. Pick-up is at 9:20 AM at the Bordeaux Tourist Office.
Embark on a journey to Saint Emilion and Pomerol, both located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region. Enjoy a one-hour scenic drive to Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, during which you will learn more about Bordeaux's wines and appreciate the beautiful landscapes. Begin your day with a visit and wine tasting at a famous classified growth château in the Pomerol or Saint Emilion appellation. You will have the opportunity to savor the finest wines produced in the region, known for their richness, texture, and minerality. Next, visit another classified growth chateau in the village, followed by a commented tasting that includes wines from surrounding appellations. Take a short walking tour of the village of Saint Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The village is known for its limestone church, Romanesque churches, ruins, and charming streets filled with cafes and local boutiques. Later, enjoy your free time for lunch in the picturesque village. In the afternoon, you will visit a third winery in the Pomerol or Saint Emilion wine region, where you will engage with passionate winemakers and learn about the art of winemaking in this unique appellation. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the Bordeaux train station.
