Horses provide a unique opportunity to disconnect from the urban bustle and immerse yourself in stunning natural settings within hours. Our suggested experience begins with breakfast in a local art gallery's mansion while saddling and bridling the horses. Once energized with breakfast, the excursion commences. We ride across the Maipo River, meander through vineyards, relish incredible hilltop views, listen to the pure sounds of nature, and raise a glass of exquisite wine amidst the vines—truly relishing this idyllic landscape.
Following the horseback ride, you'll be treated to an authentic Chilean countryside BBQ. After the meal, we journey to the renowned Undurraga vineyard, a historic gem of the Maipo Valley. While walking amidst the vineyards, your guide will delve into the vineyard's intriguing history, Chilean traditions, and its current state. You'll witness the natural and minimally intervened vine cultivation process, leading to healthy, mature grapes.
Continuing through the winery, you'll learn about the entire winemaking process. The grand finale awaits—a comprehensive tasting of three exceptional premium wines, distinguished by their unique character, complexity, and distinct identity. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to explore the indigenous pre-Columbian culture by visiting the Mapuche Museum at the Undurraga Vineyard, which recreates the worldviews and lifestyles of the pre-Hispanic inhabitants of this central Chilean region.
