A hidden picnic sanctuary awaits among the vineyards of DAF Wines, offering a refined yet authentic outdoor experience in the heart of the Cretan countryside.
Guests enjoy a gentle walk through sun-kissed vines, leading to a peaceful picnic spot immersed in nature. Upon arrival, a private table is set and a carefully prepared picnic basket is presented, featuring a premium dry white wine paired with a rich selection of traditional Cretan dishes. The picnic includes Greek salad, handmade dolmadakia, moussaka, dakos with extra virgin olive oil, fresh tomato, feta cheese and oregano, a selection of local cheeses with homemade jams, and a traditional Cretan pie filled with wild greens and aromatic herbs.
Each element of the basket is introduced and explained, offering insight into local ingredients and Cretan culinary traditions. Guests can relax under the natural shade of the vines, enjoying the slow rhythm of the vineyard and the pleasure of sharing food and wine outdoors. A small table and Bluetooth speaker are provided to enhance the relaxed atmosphere.
This vineyard picnic creates a genuine connection to Cretan flavors, hospitality, and landscape, offering a memorable moment to share with friends or family at DAF Wines.

The experience starts at the DAF Wines and continues with a short transfer in the winery's vehicle to the vineyard, located just 1 km away. At the end of the experience, the vehicle will pick you up from the same spot and bring you back to the winery where you began.
