You will begin your full-day adventure with pick-up at your accommodation and travel towards the Douro Valley on our comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Enjoy the views during this exciting trip toward the heart of the Douro Wine Region and prepare to discover the ins and outs of Port Wine and the history of the Douro region as you visit two well-known Wine Estates.

Along the road, we will make a stop in Amarante, a small charming city, one of the most ancient settlements in northern Portugal, that blends ancient, Roman, medieval, and Renaissance influences into a delightful place. Fall in love with the wonderful views that the different viewpoints ("miradouros") offer you and be amazed by endless opportunities to take stunning pictures of the region. Did you know that the Douro Valley has been a World Heritage Site since 2001?

The Douro Valley is a land of wine producers, so we've selected two Wine Estates where you'll discover the entire technological process of winemaking. In the first estate, you will have the opportunity to taste 3 different wines.

Although the region is known mainly for its delicious wines, we can not forget its singular gastronomy. Bold flavors and fresh ingredients are two key features of the region's cuisine. This private tour includes a 3-course lunch in a traditional vineyard accompanied by the typical Douro Wine. Indulge in Portuguese gastronomy and delight yourself over lunch!

There will be more to discover in the second vineyard you'll visit, where a variety of 5 wines will be served, surrounded by a truly welcoming environment: the vineyards of the Douro! 

Finally, this exclusive tour includes a panoramic Douro river cruise (typically shared with other participants), in the village of Pinhão. This will be the best way to end your day and lovely moments are guaranteed! Observe the beautiful vineyards and the enchanted hills as you cruise on tranquil waters. (Please notice that the cruise is not on a private basis).
