Experience Italy’s finest Prosecco, produced strictly within the DOCG wine appellation district, and very delicious cheeses produced by family-run Fattoria Curto, with this private wine tour departing from Venice!
In the morning, you will have the opportunity to savor the typical “formaggi di malga” (mountain cheeses); delicacies like stravecchio, sottofieno, morlacco, and smoked ricotta, that the knowledgeable staff of Fattoria Curto has been producing for generations.
The day continues with a visit to two different wineries for a tour of the cellars and a tasting of four different types of Prosecco (Brut, extra dry, millesimato, extra brut) in each winery. At one of the wineries, the wine tasting will be served alongside a light lunch made of tasty platters of typical local cold cuts and traditional Italian focaccia.
On the Prosecco & Cheese wine tour, you will discover together with an English-speaking guide all the secrets of the production of Prosecco and cheese. The tour will also include a scenic ride through the enchanting hills of Prosecco (now Unesco Heritage) along charming villages and rolling vineyards.
