The ancient Roman town of Acinipo, nowadays known as Ronda, is one of the leading wine areas of Spain and an iconic whitewashed village of Andalusia. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit 2 boutique wine cellars where you will be able to experience the traditional viticulture combined with contemporary Organic and/or Biodynamic techniques.
Ronda's Appellation of Origin Sierras de Málaga is a fairly new one within the Spanish panorama, which offers a limited and exclusive production. When visiting the 2 wine cellars, you will be able to taste at least 8 different kinds of wine from international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, and definitely the Petit Verdot, the star variety of the area, which has found in the clay soils of Ronda the ideal conditions to ripen fully.
This tour is a great opportunity for you to discover new wine styles and at the same time visit this lovely whitewashed village. A Wine Guide will accompany you for the duration of the tour and guide you through the tasting of at least 8 wines split between the 2 wineries (depending on availability there could be more). The tastings will also be accompanied by appetizers like cheese and cold meats.
