Sicily in a Bottle: Wine Tasting and Local Pairings at Tenuta Gorghi Tondi

This wine experience at Gorghi Tondi consists of a tasting and pairing experience featuring the estate's most versatile and contemporary labels, the fruit of research and experimentation and made from native grapes, to appreciate the identity, vocation, and uniqueness of our "maritime viticulture."

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with an introduction to the winery, which boasts views of the tranquil waters of the Lago Preola and Gorghi Tondi nature reserve, protected by the WWF, just steps from the winery.

After a guided tour of the winery and barrel room, the experience culminates with a tasting of four wines paired with four local finger foods:
- Local mortadella from Salumificio Artigianale Morselli
- Sicilian Primosale
- Sfincione (typical focaccia) with tomato, onion, and anchovies
- Almond Dolcino

Tasting includes the following wines:
- Palmarès, Martinotti method sparkling wine;
- Midor, Catarratto
- Dumè, Frappato
- Grillodoro, a late-harvest "muffato" made from Grillo grapes.
