Small-group Wine Tour in Chianti & San Gimignano from Florence

Here is what's in store for you

This small group wine tour will take you to discover the hilly landscape of Chianti and its villages, on board a minivan, until you reach the famous Medieval Village of San Gimignano.

The first stop of your tour will be Piazzale Michelangelo, to admire Florence in all its splendor from this wonderful panoramic terrace. You will then continue to another town of equal yet different beauty: San Gimignano.

Once in San Gimignano, you will have about 1 hour to walk around and visit the historic center, famous for its towers and walls. You will also have the opportunity to taste 7/8 excellent wines accompanied by breadsticks or focaccia at a typical wine shop in the center of this delightful medieval village.

You will then continue to your next stop, passing through Tuscany's evocative landscapes. You will stop at a renowned farm near Greve in Chianti, where you will have the opportunity to taste three more local wines and enjoy lunch with typical products. Your typical Tuscan lunch will include a selection of local cheese and cold cuts, a traditional first course (such as fresh pasta), and a typical dessert (such as cantucci cookies with Vin Santo).

Along the way, you will also stop to visit other picturesque villages. The itinerary is subject to change based on wine shop availability.
