Wine tasting at Assirelli Winery in the Romagna Hills is a truly special experience. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by a sommelier who will guide you through the unique geographical setting of the estate, sharing fascinating insights and the philosophy behind its wines.
Weather permitting, the experience begins with a walk through the vineyards, exploring the most representative and significant plots. You will then visit the winery, where—depending on the season—you may have the chance to taste freshly pressed must or preview wines directly from the tank.
At the end of the visit, you will take a seat in the tasting room, warmed by the lit fireplace in winter, or in the charming cellar, surrounded by softly illuminated barriques. Regardless of the time of year, you will always enjoy seven different wines carefully selected from the best available bottles of the season or tailored to your curiosity.
The wines are paired with high-quality cheeses, house-made cured meats, traditional piadina, and the estate’s monovarietal and multivarietal extra virgin olive oils. Throughout the experience, you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and dive deeper into topics such as winemaking techniques, olfactory perception, and food and wine pairings.
To complete your sensory journey at Assirelli Winery, you will receive a €5 credit for purchases at the end of the tasting.

The pick-up service is available from Imola or Castel San Pietro Terme train station.
It can be requested at least 2 days before your tasting date, so we can check availability and organize the transfer in advance.
Once we receive your request, we’ll send you an estimate based on the number of people and the station of arrival.
Payment is made directly on the day of the tasting.
This service is particularly convenient for guests arriving by train and wishing to reach our winery comfortably without renting a car.

Then our table was full of cheese and ham from the region, very generous in quantity. We taste 8 wines with Sante that explained everything, respond to your question with kind and generous smile. He is very professional, here for you at any time. At the end you have the possibility to buy the bottle. We take 8 bottles in total. We are use to French wine, but this is something else. You reconsider to eat cheese or meat/ham with a completely different type of wine after this degustation. It was amazing. Thank you very much and also thank you for the ride.
