Explore Spain through five wines and five individual gourmet tapas in the heart of Málaga. Inside the air-conditioned Vinoteca Malaleche, your English-speaking wine host introduces different wine regions, grape varieties and styles in a relaxed, approachable tasting.

Start with an interactive aroma experiment to discover how smell shapes flavour. Then explore each wine with guidance from your host, enjoying an individual gourmet tapa paired with every glass. Keep the wines in front of you and revisit them as their aromas evolve.

This 90-minute experience welcomes adults aged 18 and over, with a maximum of 12 guests. Water is included. The entire tasting takes place inside the wine shop at Málaga Plaza Shopping Centre.

Meet inside Vinoteca Malaleche, within Málaga Plaza Shopping Centre, at Calle Armengual de la Mota, 12, 29007 Málaga, Spain. Enter the shopping centre and come directly to the wine shop; your host will be waiting inside. Please arrive 5 minutes early and do not wait at the main entrance.

A relaxed and enjoyable Spanish wine tasting
The wine tasting offered great value for money: We were treated to a couple of extra surprise wines in addition to the planned selection and the tapas were of high quality. The wine shop itself was also a very pleasant and cozy venue for the tasting experience. The host was knowledgeable and professional, while also giving us plenty of space to explore the wines at our own pace and enjoy conversation without feeling rushed or overly guided.
I like that the wines being featured are specifically Spanish and especially Andalusian wines. It would be great to have different tasting themes throughout the year that highlight Spanish wine and food culture. For example, seasonal themes could be built around celebrations such as Christmas, Easter or San Juan offering a unique way to explore local traditions through wine and gastronomy..
