d'Araprì – Art and Passion through the Bubbles of Puglia

Step into the hidden underground world of d'Araprì in San Severo, where silence, brick vaults, and slow aging define one of Puglia’s most iconic sparkling wine estates. Beneath the town’s historic centre, the 18th-century cellars unfold through over 1,000 square metres of underground galleries where thousands of Metodo Classico bottles rest far from the light and heat above.

During the guided visit, you’ll discover the story of d'Araprì, founded in 1979 by three jazz musician friends who pioneered traditional method sparkling wine production in Northern Puglia. Along the way, you’ll encounter traces of the past, including medieval walls, an ancient underground olive press, and a historic wine press dating back to 1836.

The experience concludes with a tasting of 3 sparkling cuvées made from native Capitanata grapes, paired with a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, while learning more about the people and craftsmanship behind every bottle.
