Castle Tour & Wine Tasting with Tuscan Delicacies at Castello di Querceto

Your visit to Castello di Querceto begins with a welcome from a member of the estate's hospitality team. They will lead you on a tour through the property's history, starting with the castle's exteriors and its ancient defence works. You will then explore the winemaking and ageing cellars before reaching the wine archive, a collection of bottles that dates back to the estate's first harvest in the early 1900s.

Following the tour, you will settle in at the wine shop for a guided tasting. You'll sample four representative Castello di Querceto wines: a Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, the Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG La Corte, and an IGT Cignale, concluding with a traditional Vin Santo del Chianti Classico. The wines are paired with a selection of Tuscan foods from a local producer, including bruschetta, pecorino cheese, and cold cuts like prosciutto crudo, finocchiona, and salami. The Vin Santo will be served with classic cantucci biscuits.
