These beautiful trees are of immense national importance and are a fundamental part of Portugal's heritage.
Next, we'll arrive at our first destination: a large, modern winery. Here, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the entire winemaking process, from the initial grape pressing to the final bottling. Walk through the impressive production facilities and cellars and learn about the varied wines they produce. The visit culminates in a delightful tasting session where you can sample some of their finest creations.
After our tour, we'll head to a small, local restaurant for a delicious lunch. This is your chance to savor authentic Portuguese cuisine and relax before the afternoon's activities.
In the afternoon, we'll experience a different side of the region by visiting a smaller, family-run producer. This intimate setting offers a wonderful contrast to the morning's visit. Of course, this visit also includes a tasting, allowing you to appreciate the handcrafted quality of their wines.
As the day comes to a close, we'll drive you back to Lisbon, filled with new knowledge and a deep appreciation for the diverse wines of the region.
