The origins of Chianti Classico at Lamole di Lamole

Visit the Lamole di Lamole winery for a special Chianti Classico tasting.

You will be greeted in the Drawing Room of Lamole, before transferring outside the winery, where you'll be able to admire the Historic Vineyard (planted in 1945) and the Experimental one.

The state-of-the-art vinification cellar acts as a counterpoint to the historic one, where you will see the large casks devoted to the aging of the complex Sangiovese and the barriques for the maturation of the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Here the “historical memory” of Lamole is preserved: the racks of dusty bottles, memorials of ancient vintages, bear witness to the aging ability of the wines from this outstanding little village. The visit ends in the Vinsantaia, where one of the iconic products of Chianti Classico slowly matures: Vinsanto, with its very traditional method of production.
