Wine Tasting and Tour at Castello La Leccia in Castellina in Chianti

Your experience at Castello La Leccia begins in the panoramic garden, with views stretching across the Tuscan countryside to Siena, Monteriggioni, and San Gimignano. Here, a member of the hospitality team will welcome you and introduce the landscapes of the Chianti Classico region.

The visit continues with a guided tour of the winery, where you will follow the path of the grapes from the vineyard to the bottle. You'll learn about the estate's philosophy and the specific practices of their organic winemaking process.

The tour concludes in Castello La Leccia's wine shop with a guided tasting of four organic wines, including one white and three reds. You will sample an IGT Bianco Martina, an IGT Rosso Vivaio del Cavaliere, a Chianti Classico, and a Chianti Classico Riserva. The tasting is complemented by a sample of Tuscan pecorino cheese and the estate's own extra virgin olive oil, highlighting the local flavors of the territory.
