Tour of the cellar in the cave and tasting of Bodega Santa Rosa's wines

Enjoy the tour and tasting at Bodega Santa Rosa: the winery with the largest active underground cellar on the continent!

Upon arrival at the winery, you will be welcomed with coffee in winter or a glass of Medio y Medio in summer, enjoyed in the park. The tour, led by our enologist and Juan Passadore, the fourth generation of the family, begins with the fascinating 126-year history of Bodega Santa Rosa Famiglia Passadore.

You will visit our Tannat vineyard, Uruguay's signature grape, and explore the winery’s production facilities and machinery. The tour includes a visit to Uruguay's first Barrel Room, where our Sherry and Gran Reserva wines age. You'll then discover the unique Fond de Cave Sparkling Wine Cellar, the largest of its kind on the continent, where a Master Class on the Champenoise method is conducted. The tour concludes in our museum, showcasing wines from 1898, with tastings in the underground cellar.
