Here is what's in store for you
We begin the day on Gratallops, where we can find the most spectacular vineyard of Catalonia. In this area we can also find the Priorat C.O.D. vine. At the vineyard where we lodged we will have a complete vine tasting experience.
Visit to viewpoint of Priorat
We continue to La Figuera, the best viewpoint of Priorat and where we can see the Pirinees, dels Ports mountain range, Segre river, Maestrazgo de Castellón and some lands of Aragón. We will visit San Pau Shrine, near to our present location.
Cabacés tour
Then, we go to Cabacés, ideal place to make oleotourism. Here exists 8 mills of olive oil that we can visit (maybe one or two mills so to have time to know other places of Priorat). We suggest you to visit Miró Cubells Cava Loca, who conserves a millennial tradition.
After that, we continue our trip at Priorat going to Vilella Baixa, place that has remains from its medieval age such as “la calle que no pasa” or San Juan Bautista Church. Vilella Baixa is also known as Priorat’s New York thanks to the 9 floor buildings we can find in the town.
Then, we go to Poboleda to visit Priorat Cathedral also known as San Pedro Church, of Neoclassic style. At Poboleda we can also have a sight of Monsant.
Our last place to visit is Ciurana. There are two must-to-see places: the remains of an Arabian stronghold built on IX century, and Santa Maria Church, a Roman church built during XII century. We go back to Barcelona.
On our way back, we will watch Cartuja de Escaladei, first Cartushian monastery established in the Iberian peninsula.

How should you be dressed?
For your visit to a vineyard, we recommend wearing comfortable footwear for walking, as you will be touring the vineyard and its facilities outdoors. Depending on the season, it’s ideal to wear light, breathable clothing, along with a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Don't forget to apply sunscreen and bring a raincoat or umbrella in case of unexpected rain. Additionally, it’s advisable to have a light jacket in case temperatures drop in the evening, especially if you will be touring the cellars. It’s also helpful to carry a water bottle to stay hydrated during the tour.
