Travel Around Portugal Tasting at João Portugal Ramos in Estremoz, Alentejo

This experience at João Portugal Ramos offers a complete tour of the estate and a tasting that showcases the diversity of Portugal's wine regions.

Your visit begins in the vineyard, guided by a member of the viticulture team or a WSET Level 2-trained wine tourism expert, who will also lead your tasting. You will then tour the winery, exploring the winemaking areas, traditional 'lagares', the barrel cellar, and a unique corridor that displays the different vineyard soils of the producer's estates.

The experience continues in the tasting room with five wines representing the different Portuguese regions where João Portugal Ramos operates. You will taste:

- Tons de Duorum Rosé from Douro
- Marquês de Borba Colheita White from Alentejo
- Marquês de Borba Vinhas Velhas White – Alentejo
- João Portugal Ramos Alvarinho – Vinho Verde
- Quinta de Foz de Arouce Red from Beiras, a blend of Baga and Touriga Nacional

The wines are paired with traditional Alentejo bread, local sheep’s cheese, and a selection of regional pâtés made with olives, coriander, and chouriço. The tasting also includes a sample of the estate's Oliveira Ramos Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

For minors, a non-alcoholic option is available, including a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, and orange juice.
