(Spring & Autumn) Your journey begins with a scenic stroll along one of Liguria’s ancient paths, surrounded by olive trees and breathtaking sea views. (Summer) To avoid the heat, you will access the property directly, step into a historic olive grove suspended between sky and sea, and enjoy the cooler morning or sunset breeze.
In this magical setting, you will take part in a hands-on cooking class dedicated to Liguria’s most iconic specialty: traditional Genovese pesto prepared with an authentic mortar and pestle. Guided through the ritual, you will learn the secrets behind the authentic recipe while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere immersed in nature.
At the end of the class, you will sit down and enjoy your homemade pesto, accompanied by a glass of local wine, and surrounded by spectacular views of the coastline.
This experience is perfect for travelers seeking authenticity, local gastronomy, and a deeper connection with the traditions of the Italian Riviera.

Where we are and how to reach us
Meeting Point & Logistics: Spring, Autumn, and Winter: We will meet in front of the Cavi di Lavagna train station. From there, we will take a pleasant 10-minute walk to reach the trail, which will lead us directly to the estate in another 10 minutes. Summer months: Please note that a car or taxi is strictly required to reach the location. Guests will drive directly to the estate. The route follows a hilly road, and the last section of about 200 meters is an unpaved dirt road (fully accessible for standard cars). Free private parking is available on-site. The exact address and driving directions will be provided immediately after booking. In case of bad weather: In the event of rain or adverse weather conditions, the experience cannot take place outdoors. In this case, the session will be rescheduled to a new date based on mutual availability.
