Truffle Hunting & All-truffle Lunch at Maison aux Mille Truffes in Burgundy

Here is what's in store for you

Welcome to the House of a Thousand Truffles, located between Dijon and Beaune in the surroundings of vineyards and fields!

You will first be welcomed by Thierry or Nicolas who will explain to you the truffle sector, from harvesting to marketing, including the development of truffle products under their L'Or des Valois brand. Then they will accompany you in the showroom to explain the natural cycle of the truffle and answer all your questions. Later, you will head to the park for the truffle hunting demonstration with Julio or Taïga, the estate's faithful 4-legged friends. Finally, head to the dining room for lunch, which includes entrance, main course, cheese platter and dessert.

An example of the lunch menu (which may vary depending on the season): toast tapenade, truffle parmesan cream and glass of rat truffle, charcuterie with Burgundy truffles accompanied by a green salad and slices of fresh truffles, mashed potatoes with truffled butter and chicken fillet accompanied by a Burgundy truffle sauce, an assortment of Burgundy truffle cheeses, chocolate fondant with truffle whipped cream. An example of the premium lunch menu: Crémant de Bourgogne with a toast of truffled butter, Pâté en croute with black truffle, green salad and pickled carrots, cod ballottines with Burgundy truffle cream sauce, truffled risotto, vegetable brunoise and onion confit, truffle cheeses platter and dessert. Although the price does not include drinks, the selection of wines and non-alcoholic beverages is offered for your choice to accompany your lunch. You'll have a special glass of wine included in the menu, too!
