Embark on a sensory journey at Umberto Cesari Winery, dedicated to exploring the nuances of both local and international white grape varieties. This experience is designed to reveal the many expressions of the land through a curated tasting guided by a professional sommelier.
The tasting begins with two interpretations of Pignoletto and Albana, native grape varieties deeply rooted in the region's winemaking tradition. These are followed by an exploration of international varieties expressed through a refined and distinctive blend, offering a broader view of the winery’s stylistic range.
Guests will taste five exceptional wines: Colle Belvedere, Moma Sparkling Wine, Colle del Re, Vintage Albana, and Liano Bianco, each representing a different layer of elegance and complexity.
To complement the wines, the experience includes gourmet pairings: five-cereals bread served with Palmieri’s Mortadella la Favola and a crouton topped with anchovy and caper pâté; warm croutons with la Magretta bacon and dehydrated apple flakes; and 36-month-aged Prosciutto di Parma accompanied by shelled walnuts and rustic five-grain bread.
Through this experience at Umberto Cesari Winery, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Emilia-Romagna’s viticultural identity and how it harmonizes with international varietals.
